Tatyoon Football Netball Club Code of Conduct

Every person: spectator, player, club member, official, participant, administrator, coach, parent or member of the community involved with the Tatyoon Football and Netball club, will ensure that:

  • every person is included; regardless of their age, gender, sexual orientation, race, culture or religion

  • opportunities exist for people of all abilities to participate in the club and develop to their full potential

  • respect is shown towards others, the club and the broader community

  • a safe and inclusive environment exists for all

  • violent and abusive behaviour is eliminated from all activities and facets of our club and community

  • every person is protected from sexual harassment or intimidation.

This code applies to matches, games, training and all club-sanctioned activities.

General Code of Behaviour

As a person required to comply with this Code of Conduct, you must meet the following requirements regarding your conduct during any activity held or sanctioned by the Tatyoon Football and Netball Club.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others.

  • Be fair, considerate and honest in all dealings with others.

  • Operate within the rules of our sport including state guidelines that govern Netball Victoria, AFL Country Victoria, the MDFL and the MDNA.

  • Do not use your involvement with Tatyoon Football and Netball Club to promote your own beliefs, behaviours or practices where these are inconsistent with those of our club.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of individual responsibility especially when dealing with persons under 18 years of age.

  • Refrain from any behaviour that may bring our Club into disrepute.

  • Provide a safe environment for the conduct of our matches.

  • Be a positive role model.

  • Understand the repercussions if you breach or are aware of any breaches of this Code of Behaviour.
